Dr. Ayako Nagase

Profile

Dr. Ayako Nagase is Professor in Graduate school of global and transdisciplinary studies Chiba University. She took her Bachelor in Chiba University, Department of Horticulture, Japan; Msc in University of Reading, Department of Horticulture and Landscape, UK; PhD in University of Sheffield, Department of Landscape, UK. After finishing her study in the UK, she worked in Faculty of Horticulture and Faculty of Engineering in Chiba University, Faculty of Urban Life Studies in Tokyo City University. Her research interest is to apply ecological ideas into landscape for sustainable, efficient and aesthetic development using transdisciplinary ideas. Her background in horticulture, landscape, engineering and urban life science helps to have a wide perspective.
